Frame

The Stereo 120's brand new frame has dynamic looks thanks to the elaborately hydroformed and triple butted aluminium 7005 Ultralite tubes. It also manages to finesse a weight advantage, without sacrificing either stiffness or strength. Our much admired Agile Trail Geometry (ATG) is matched to each wheel size to provide an unrivalled blend of stable, lively handling in all situations. Effficent Trail Control (ETC), combined with the newly designed forged Trail Motion Rocker linkage, creates a perfectly balanced suspension setup and optimum spring rate, irrespective of frame size.

Components

The brand new Shimano XT groupset, with its wide-range 11 speed cassette (11-40) and double chainset optimised to the wheel size - 36x26T with the 27.5 inch and 34x24T with the 29er - is the perfect match for the Stereo 120 SL. The new XT is the gold standard for both shifting and braking. The new suspension components - consisting of the lightweight Fox 32 FIT4 air fork with tapered steerer and Float DPS rear shock, both custom tuned to suit the Stereo 120 - are also class leaders. With Open, Medium or Firm modes it's easy to set the Stereo's suspension up for any riding situation, while its lively character is perfectly matched by the light and stiff Fulcrum Red 66 system wheels and versatile Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.25 inch LiteSkin kevlar tyres.
